The Award-winning technology company announces it received the prestigious financial grant form Epic, the company behind the popular Unreal Engine and Fortnite.
The Epic MegaGrant is awarded for the further development of its OpenXR runtime, adopting the industry-standard.
With recently being honoured an Innovation Award at CES last January, this is the 2nd award the Dutch technology company wins in Q1 of 2022 based on its Simulated Reality technology.

March 22 - Veldhoven, The Netherlands. Dimenco, the the award-winning market leader in light field 3D display technology announces it received the prestigious Epic MegaGrant for further developments in support of their Simulated Reality display technology (SR) with the OpenXR™ industry-standard. The innovative company, which has released Unreal Engine plugins and SDK, is glad to contribute to the OpenXR ecosystem by shifting away from proprietary API and need for custom driver integrations, in favor of full support of the royalty-free OpenXR industry-standard from the Khronos® Group.
During CES 2022 last January, the company debuted its newly developed Dimenco SR Pro Display and the highly advanced 3D spatial display technology, named Built on SR™. The Dimenco SR Pro Display facilitates the ability to view and engage with virtual 3D objects on a display in a way never before experienced. It enables creators to import real-world, natural presence to their 3D spatial content, in a fully virtual environment – without the need for any HMD (head mounted display) or other wearables.
